Your new tattoo is part of your skin. If you don’t properly care for it during the healing process, problems like infection or loss of color can arise. If you take care of your tattoo, it will stay good forever.
The healing process of the tattoo takes between 3 and 4 weeks, during which you need to avoid exposing the area to direct sunlight and long periods of immersion in water, sauna and sweat.
Once the tattoo is done, treat it like an open wound, clean your hands. Remove the protective plastic and gently clean the area with soap and water, rinse with plenty of water and dry with paper towels. Then apply a thin layer of tattoo cream. Repeat this process at least 3 to 4 times a day depending on the tattoo area and skin type. By doing this, you will stimulate healing and prevent infection.
In the second part of the process, the tattoo will start to itch and you will already have a thin layer of new skin, continue hygiene in the area and apply tattoo cream to relieve itching and reduce flaking.
